HONDA SUPERPILOT

Client: Honda  |   Year: 2013   |   Sector: Automotive |   Role: Designer

Honda SuperPilot is a search&rescue vehicle, designed for operations in vast nature reserves in America. With an innovative independently suspended Rescue Pod, the vehicle can carry operations at high speeds in rough terrain while carrying the injured in stability. The defibrillator medical backpack of the operators click into the seats, removing the time spent to put on seatbelts and help optimize the response time. The SuperPilot offers a more affordable alternative to rescue helicopters with high operational costs, which in result can be deployed in larger numbers. Honda SuperPilot was Ege’s response to a Honda sponsored project at Art Center College of Design, the brief was to create a ‘concept’ version of the mass produced full-size SUV, the Honda Pilot.
