Although the modern 911 is considered one of the most traditional evolutions in car design, the aim of this project was to capture its original essence by reducing it down to its most basic elements. With a tighter package closer to the dimensions of Cayman, it’s low tail and stood up windshield, unapologetic proportions and design features; 901 is smaller, simpler and untamed. Since it’s debut, 901 has peaked the interest of 911 lovers and car enthusiast around the world. Multiple attempts from different continents have tried to bring the car into reality, yet currently it lives only as a concept and as a limited edition slotcar model with it’s own local championship in Italy.
